Are your pupusas really gluten-free products?
Yes, all of our pupusas are naturally gluten-free. We use organic corn masa instead of wheat flour.
Are your products allergen free?
Our products are free of all the Top 8 allergens — except where cheese is listed as an ingredient. All of our products are processed in a dedicated nut free facility but may be processed on equipment that also processes dairy, eggs, or soy. Do you use packaging that can be recycled?
The cardboard packaging for our pupusas are completely recyclable. However, the plastic film and bags used to keep our pupusas, tamales, and mini pupusas fresh, are not conventionally recyclable.
Where can I get coupons?
Do you use artificial ingredients or preservatives in your products?
Part of what makes our products so delicious are the simple recipes we use. Because we use the natural benefits of the freezer to lock in flavor and nutrients, we don’t need to rely on artificial additives and preservatives to make out food taste great.
Where do pupusas come from?
Pupusas are a traditional dish from El Salvador and considered a national favorite.
Are your products kosher?
No, our products do not meet the requirements to be considered kosher.
Is your corn organic and non-GMO?
Yes, the corn masa we use in our recipes is completely organic and non-GMO.
What should I do if my pupusas are frozen together?
If your pupusas are frozen together, carefully use a non-sharp butter knife to pop them apart. Carefully wedge the blade in between the two, aiming away from your hands, and twist to separate.
